Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) distributed spoils (of war). Upon this a person said: This is a distribution In which the pleasure of Allaah has not been sought. I came to the Prophet of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) and informed him in an undertone. He (the Prophet) was deeply angry at this and his face became red till I wished that I had not made a mention of it to him. He (the Prophet) then said: Moses was tormented more than this, but he showed patience.
